In the most recent model years, not so many Meharis were delivered. In the last 2 years just over 1,000 of the 144,000 cars in total. This Mehari was got its ORGA number on December 16, 1985, recording its birth. It was registered on March 4, 1986, after concessionaire Roton had already serviced it in February. They probably waited for slightly nicer weather before delivery.

Roto in Hengelo subsequently maintained the car until at least 1993. Until then, the services have all been neatly stamped in the maintenance booklet. It had driven approximately 24,000 km up till then.

After that, the history is not clear, except that the last owner owned it for 8 years. With its 70,000 km, it has not experienced a lot, and that can be seen in the car. It looks really neat and original. Especially for an original Dutch car.

The tubular frame has lost some weight in a few places, but has been preserved and was stable the last few years. The chassis, still original, is in really perfect condition. The plastic has also remained very neat, apart from some regular weathering.

Driving completely matches its appearance; tight and exactly as it should be.
