Dyane 6
Beige Opale. It gives a velvety, matte finish without feeling powdery, and excellent coverage that still feels natural. It sounds like an advertisement text for a Lancôme foundation, and it is. But anyway, this colour also gives a golden glow to the beautiful lines of the Dyane in 1978.

This shade is an odd one out, the only metallic shade in the French colour palette. In Spain, a few special models also had shiny colors, but Beige Opale was the first and it suits her well!

The upholstery was also adapted to it. Unfortunately, the fabric deteriorated quite quickly, but this Dyane has a replica of it stretched over the frames. Incidentally, 1978 was the first year that the Dyane was equipped with disc brakes, a great improvement in safety and maintenance costs.

On April 22, 1978, it was delivered to Mr. Perrier by garage Minodier in Valence. The first maintenance was done by the dealer in Tain l’Hermitage, after that the maintenance booklet stops, but a notebook of the owner takes over. It is all still with the car. The notebook is kept until 2000 and approximately 60,000 km.

In 2010 she is taken to the Netherlands by a colleague and sold to another colleague. Even then with a few dents and scratches, but she doesn’t care. She gets about 10,000 km of life experience, after which we pampered her with a new set of Michelins, an electronic ignition and a full service.
