A commercial van in heart and soul. The past 10 years it worked for the company of one of our valued customers, before that for some light freight with an acquaintance of ours. But in France it did the real work. Transporting wine bottles on a chateau!

On December 19, 1977, M. Nouvel obtained a temporary number plate on his new company car, issued in the Gironde department. These license plates, often with a W or WW in them, were often used to collect the car from the factory or importer. Sometimes you find them behind the regular plates.

On January 12, 1978, the final registration was issued, which was put in the name of the company in 1982. Chateau Petit Gravet produces fine St. Emilion wines and since a few years they went organic.

Unfortunately, the AK was not a witness of  that, it already went to the Netherlands in 2010. Still equipped with the advertising signs of the chateau and a bottle of their wine has also been brought along.

The AK has been well preserved. The paint is thin and has quite a few signs of its working life, but still makes it shine happily.

The floors and pedal box were replaced a few years ago. It has always been carefully technically maintained and drives wonderfully.

It can be a stunner for your new business, wine import with this chateau as the first supplier. Or you throw your camping gear and your partner in it, slowly descend to the south and drink a glass of the latest harvest with the Nouvel family.

Perhaps during the tasting – 4.9 rating on Google for quality and hospitality – they can tell you some nice stories about the history of the car. We would love to hear them from you.
