We also recycle. Cars regularly return to us, after which we look for a new owner. Each owner adds something to the 2CV, personal adjustments or stories. We found this white 2CV in Germany in 2002, with only 28,000 km on the odometer. It was bought by a couple who got married in it. A rack was installed for the large bridal bouquet.

After 12 years and 7,000 km, it came back to us and we found a new keeper for it. The car was used for commuting in the summer and was also regularly taken on holiday. In the 10 years of use, 30,000 km have now been added. For the holidays it received a trunk enlarger and for better seating comfort the somewhat faded upholstery was replaced by brown leatherette.

Here and there a spot was touched up or a piece of the floors was restored. The original chassis is still in excellent condition, as is the engine and gearbox. This was regularly maintained by us.

What are you going to add to it? Or take off? The trunk expander is easily loosened with a few wing nuts, the rack can also be removed if you want to go back to the basics. But maybe you don’t want that at all, because you think it looks great and is exactly ready for the adventures and trips you planned.
