The Citroën M35, a unique small coupé with hydropneumatic suspension and the revolutionary Wankel engine. With a unique advertising campaign, Citroën put the Wankel engine in the spotlight in ’69, they expected a lot from it. The promotional and test vehicle – the M35 – was only sold to loyal Citroën drivers who drove at least 30,000 km per year. 267 came on the road, this is one of the approximately 80 survivors.

The car was delivered in early ’71, unfortunately it is unknown where and to whom. Later it was added to his collection of 25! M35s by a Dutch collector. At the beginning of this century it left there again and went on his way to Canada. It stayed there until recently.

The engine was overhauled in 2012 by the French Wankel specialist Louvigne. Then it was tested for 841 km in its own M35, before being shipped back to Canada.

OThe other technical components were also addressed, including a custom exhaust and new tires. It drives great. At some point, apparently a long time ago, it was resprayed. The paint still looks good, only the front – especially the hood – has some room for improvement.

For a car in concours condition, we have 2 other copies. This one is a very good basis to further customize to your liking, with the more critical things already in order. We deliver it as it is, with Canadian papers.
