Dyane D6
This Citroën Dyane D6, in the beautiful colour Bleu Crystal, rolled off the production line at the Citroën factory in Rennes on 13 February 1968. Originally sold in the Marne Valley, to a gentleman in Noyant-Villages – between Le Mans and Saumur. It has always remained in the same region.

After the death of the first owner, this D6 ended up with a true enthusiast with a nice collection; an impeccable Acadiane “Reise Ente”, a brand new Ami 8, and various Dyanes, some in new condition. The Citroën garage where the car always received its maintenance (sticker on the tailgate) still exists, albeit under a different name. The second owner, from the Saumur region, cherished her in his collection until August 2023.

Then she came to the Netherlands! A technical check and many new parts followed, but the charm of the sixties was retained. Engine, chassis, bodywork, gearbox, carburettor; all original. The date under the ashtray (a novelty in ’68) corresponds to two weeks before the production date.

On the website of the French Dyane club there is an article: “The D6, a myth?”. The AYA3-type D6, with its 602 cc, 28 hp M4 engine (always 12 volts!), was only produced from January to March 1968 with that beautiful D6 logo. The ‘D’ is said to have been borrowed from the DS logo. After 3 months the “Dyane 6” (in gold) came, but the car itself remained virtually the same until September 1968. In September the new Dyane 6 came with the 33 hp AK2 engine.

Already equipped with a Dutch registration and with some work done by an enthusiastic owner, it is on its way to becoming a nice user classic. It is your honor to finish this rare Dyane, entirely to your own taste. Of course we can also do it for you – for an additional fee.
