Dyane 6
In early 1972, Joseph Guinard treated himself with a Dyane 6. He ordered it from garage Tomine, a dealer in Rennes, near his hometown of Saint Gilles. The car remained in the same department until it was found by a Dutchman.

Based on a few maintenance cards and the Tax stickers on the windscreen, you can see that it was still actively used in the 1990s. In 1994, it even got serviced twice, at 41,000 and 46,000 km. The next one did not take place until 1922, at 51,000 km.

Unfortunately, we cannot find out what happened to it in the meantime. The Dutch enthusiast bought it from a garage that sold it for a lady. Perhaps Madame Guinard?

Here, it got a Dutch registration and some maintenance. We installed a new set of Michelin tires and gave it a thorough check, so it’s ready to hit the road with you right away.

It drives very smoothly, as you would expect from this mileage. Constructively, it has stood the test of time quite well. It has a few spots of rust, but nothing that would scare an inspector. Externally, it is nicely weathered.

And that is exactly what appeals to us. Nice and original, straight from the barn, no worries about a dent, just get in and enjoy.
