Burton
In 1986 its career starts as a 2CV, in 2008 a transformation starts which is finally completed in 2017. It has become a (little) sports car! Many 2cvs ended up on the scrapyard, some others got a new life as a kit car, in whatever form. The chassis of a 2cv makes many conversions possible, such as this Burton.
In 2008 the construction was started with a new chassis. The drivetrain was completely tackled and all other parts of the chassis were prepared for a new life as well. In 2017 the body was ordered in two-tone blue and then assembled. Supplemented with a custom interior, with leather bucket seats and a self-made wooden dashboard. The exhaust is made of stainless steel, it even has a tow bar.
Then the fun could begin, but due to circumstances it didn’t. Now it has only driven 1100 km. We recently took it out of its garage and made it ready for use again. It drives great, looks cheerful and invites you to go for a great tour.
This can be done topless, which is the best, or with a blue soft top that comes with it. The MOT is new, it’s fully services and a full tank of petrol is also included in the price.
