You will find beautiful things on the Gold Coast. In this cas the Côte d’Or department and an Ami 8 from ’71, in a beige shade with depth. Logical, if the color – translated – is Ash Beige. An intriguing type of wood with beautiful flame markings.

These markings, with a nice contrast, are reflected in the upholstery. Two-tone Targa vinyl, specific to this year, just like the paint color.

Ash wood is strong and tough, this Ami has also tried to be, the exterior is still completely original and beautiful. The wood is not of the highest durability class, nor is Citroën’s metal. The body has interacted with the elements in a few places, but we have neatly repaired this and preserved it.

This makes it a fairly unique survivor, Amis are quite scarce and we certainly don’t know many from this year. The third year of production brings winding windows in the front doors, but still the great steel steering wheel. That feels nice while driving, which is very comfortable in general.

We deliver it ready for the road, with a Dutch registration.
