Ami 6 Break
Found in a shed next to the house, the family didn’t even know of its existence. Doomed to be sold in parts, but still ended up with a Dutch enthusiast via a German rescuer and Ebay. He kept the weathered appearance, but made it structurally and technically completely in order again.

That’s the short version of the story, we have the long version for you too; the owner already told it in the club magazine of the Dutch Amivereniging.

It is a fairly early Ami 6 Break from ’65, with 2 instead of 3 ribs in the roof, built in the Belgian factory in Forest. In the early ’70s, Monsieur Stieman from Chapelle-lez-Herlaimont drove it around and the local Citroën garage, Claude Deprez, did the maintenance. In ’73 they corresponded about damage. Perhaps the reason that the car was put out of service?

The enthusiast who gave the Ami a new life has enjoyed several trips, but has now taken on a new project. That is why we are looking for someone who wants to add even more stories to this car. You can start right away, just get in and drive away (after a financial transaction, of course). Photos of the project are included.
