A customer of ours had wanted an Ami 6 for a while, this was exactly what he was looking for. A few small things were repaired to the bodywork, the panels were made straight and it was repainted. The interior was also renewed, in materials that the customer chose and that fit well with the atmosphere of the car.
The drivetrain was in excellent driving condition, but still got a lot of attention. Including new brakes, tires and bearings. This Ami is from the last year of production, just before the introduction of the Ami 8. It also has the engine that was developed for its successor, with 35 hp and a completely different design, a lot quicker, stronger and more reliable than its predecessor with 25 hp.
It also has more modern rear lights, which were later also used on the 2cv4/6, an adjustable backrest on the front seats and fixed window frames on the doors.
The car was enjoyed, a farewell and a new owner followed. Now it is for sale again for someone who is looking for smooth-driving and distinctive classic transport.
