About 10 years ago we restored this 2CV. It was a solid basis to start from, with about 75,000 km. The body was optimized and resprayed, the chassis replaced. Many other parts (bumpers, rims, tires, roof, interior) were replaced as well.

The customer drove it for a while, until he found a Mehari even more fun. The car ended up well with a couple who only used it in the summer to go to a campsite on the Veluwe. Of course, it was also driven locally. They added almost 40,000 km to the odometer, they really enjoyed it.

Now it’s time for something else for them and the – still beautiful – 2CV is available again for an owner with new plans.

Of course you can see that the restoration was not done yesterday, but you could well believe that it was the day before yesterday. It is still very neat. It has also always been properly maintained and proven to be very reliable.
