We understood from the third owner that this car was delivered to Mrs. Janse from Elburg in ’82. She kept it until sometime in the early 1990s, when it ended up with a 2cv lover from Utrecht. Until the girlfriend of the current and third owner wanted to go on holiday to France in August. Good destination, but only in a 2cv!

So this beauty was purchased and prepared for the trip. They enjoyed traveling with the car so much that it was allowed to stay until now. More trips were made and sometimes it was used for commuting. In recent years it has been in storage due to moving abroad, and that is just a shame. So we are now looking for a new 2cv enthusiast who will enjoy taking it on trips again.

The car is completely ready for it. Years ago, the floors were renewed and the chassis replaced by a galvanized one. Some parts of the body have been replaced and repainted, it looks beautiful and fresh.

It has always been well maintained and receives some attention from us before departure, and a new MOT. Mrs. Janse sat on benches made of black leatherette. In the 1990s, a slightly more luxurious Club set of chairs, with beige fabric, from a few years younger was chosen. It suits the car fine.

We don’t see this colour red very often anymore. A nice change from the dominant Rouge Vallelunga. This year’s Club version was delivered with a different beige upholstery, with red and black stripes. We happen to have a very nice set of them. We will hook and slide it in for you at an additional cost.
