Originally it came from Germany, in 2008 it was welcomed in the Netherlands. My brother drove it for a while, then it went to a lady from our clientele. It was always neatly maintained.

About 10 years ago it briefly disappeared from our radar, but came back when the new owner wanted us to do some odd jobs and improvements. He continued to do that in the following years.

The floors, footwell and other parts of the body were replaced and repainted, the following year some other panels were due. The interior was renewed and the roof followed recently. Of course, technically it was pampered as well.

It turned out to be wonderfully reliable and was regularly used for rides in the neighborhood and to the beach.

But then another car – his childhood dream – crossed his path way and some other big plans were enroled, little time was left for the 2CV. We offered to guide it back to more enjoyment of life, enjoyment that you can certainly offer it.
