2cv AZ ENAC
If you needed to make your 2CV even more useful than its standard design, you could go to ENAC. They offered all sorts of accessories, which could often be supplied and installed through the dealership. Their product range also included a kit that allowed you to convert it into a commercial vehicle.

The spare tire was moved forward, under the bonnet. The bootlid was hinged above the window, and a flat load floor was added, allowing you to stow larger items. You could also opt for a folding rear seat. This car doesn’t have the latter option. Just like with a real commercial vehicle, the load capacity was displayed on the right side. Perhaps this also yielded a tax advantage.

This 2CV AZ ENAC hit the roads in the Vienne department in the early days of 1968, a region it wouldn’t leave until recently. In recent decades, it hasn’t moved more than 10 km.

In 1972 and 1994, it changed owners. Mrs. Beau documented all the work she had done on it until 2007. Then it ended up with Jacqueline, who sold the car to her Dutch neighbor in 2019. He recently brought the car here.

Everyone has had their own work done on it; the gearbox has been replaced, the brakes repaired, and the roof and manifold replaced. Judging by the way the floors have been repaired, this must have been done several decades ago. The approach was primarily practical.

The rest of the bodywork and chassis are well-preserved, and the engine purrs smoothly. The brakes need some attention, the brake hoses and tyres need replacing, and there are a few other minor issues that need to be addressed before it can hit the road smoothly.

You can work on it yourself and take it with you as it is—it’s quite manageable—or you can let us do it for you; we’ll create a plan together.
