2cv6 Club
The Costes family from Millau, in the South of France ordered this 2CV in ’85. It was delivered with a 5th door frame to be able to lift in the shopping bags easier. The ride to the shops was probably also its longest trip because in 2004 it had only driven 25,000 km and a few years ago we bought it with less than 42,000 km on the counter.
We sold it to a gentleman from Hoorn, but he didn’t drive it enough and returned it. Then it ended up with a lady on Texel. There it drove some local rounds, but still not enough, so it is back with us. Because it deserves to be enjoyed more.
The 2CV is very beautiful and can certainly beautify your garage or street a lot. It is also solid and rust-free, so it can continue to do that for quite some time. With its low mileage it has a good life expectancy anyway, and you notice that while driving; it does exactly as it should.
The foam in the seats was crumbling, so the upholstery was replaced a few years ago and is wonderfully comfortable again. In terms of maintenance, it is completely up to date, and we deliver it with a fresh MOT and a full tank of petrol. So yes, there is actually nothing in the way of the car to go on a nice trip. Will you accompany it?
