Semi-automatic, restoration project from California.

This DS was imported from the USA a few years ago. It was purchased new by a US Army lieutenant from Modesto, California. The car remained there all its life, first with him, later with his daughter. It was maintained by a Citroën garage in San Jose, where a number of adjustments were made to the car, including a Frantz oil filter.

It stood still from the 1990s onwards, after which it was put on the boat by a Dutch enthusiast. Here it was purchased and placed in the corner until there was time for its restoration. But as it often goes; that time never came. So it is available again for the next enthusiast.

It has a solid chassis, very little rust due to the dry climate, damage to the left rear and some dents here and there. But also nice specific American details and the most sought-after old type of dashboard and a semi-automatic gearbox.
