When ordering a new, fairly luxurious car in 2002, with wonderfully smooth suspension, an automatic transmission, and a softly humming V6, yooneu must be looking forward to all the comfortable drives one is going to take with it. But looking back after more than 20 years and having driven an average of less than 1,000 km per year… What do you think then?

If it had been disappointing, you would have sold it or just left it in the garage, but it was properly maintained at the dealer (as can be seen in the documentation). And it has never seen salt. As a result, the underbody is truly still like new.

Perhaps you wanted to keep driving it for eternity? But then you really should have indulged yourself a bit more, because these cars are very reliable. I once bought one new and at 350,000 km it still had the original exhaust, battery, and clutch.

We will probably never know the considerations. The fact is that this C5, delivered in Östersund, Sweden, now has exceptionally low mileage on the odometer and has remained remarkably neat. A second owner in Sweden replaced the timing belt and tires, after which he sold it to one of our clients.

We are now selling the car for him. He bought it because of its uniqueness, and not necessarily to drive it. We are now looking for an enthusiast who will cherish it well. To that end, we have already fully polished and freshened it up, and replaced the tires again, but this time with proper Michelins.

It still has a Swedish registration, drives wonderfully, and looks beautiful. There are still some finishing touches to be made regarding maintenance and details, but we prefer to leave that to the next enthusiast; after all, they prefer to decide for themselves to what level they want to take it.
