We imported this ’87 Jaune Rialto 2CV from Belgium in ’05, with only 40,000 km on the clock at the time. We installed a new chassis and sold it to a customer. The car was permanently parked outside and wasn’t particularly well-maintained. Then it was sold locally and we lost sight of it. It still had a valid APK (periodic roadworthiness test) until 2020.

Judging by its current, extremely rusty condition, it’s also seen its fair share of moisture since then… However, it’s still a good enough base for restoration. The chassis number was re-stamped by the RDW (Netherlands Vehicle Authority) and is therefore reusable.

A few years ago, it was painted with flowers. The mechanicals have 75,000 km on the clock, and you can tell. It starts, drives, and brakes. Otherwise, it’s being sold as is.
