Vert Bambou, a true seventies color. The 2CV was often delivered in it back then. There was a common agreement among children that you could pinch each other if you saw one. Here you have the chance to relive it all.

This 2CV was delivered new to Germany. Here (and in the UK) this color returned to the range once more in the eighties for nostalgic reasons, often as a promotional model, Sauss Ente or I Fly Bleifrei.

It came to the Netherlands in 1996, had its MOT (periodic roadworthiness) until 2015, and we bought it in 2018 as a nice basis for a restoration. We haven’t gotten to it yet, so it can now go as is.

The chassis and floors are in poor condition, and the rest also needs new parts and/or welding. The engine runs fine, the other mechanicals need some attention, but it has recently been test-driven. It has already been inspected by the RDW (Netherlands Vehicle Authority) for a chassis-swap.

For those who fancy a fun project in a cheerful colour!
