The Centre de Premiere Intervention of the Mairie de Sologny, that sounds very important. Certainly for a town with about 500 inhabitants. But hey, they also have to be able to get help there, so that’s probably what this bus was bought for.
According to the Carte Grise, it became the property of the municipality in ’99, but whether it was bought second-hand at the time – it was almost 25 years old – or if it was an internal transfer is not known. It was said goodbye in 2012.
These types of vehicles were not used very much, fortunately, so they often last a very long time and usually have a low mileage at the end of their career. 44,000 km is therefore perfectly plausible.
It is still solid and good looking, apart from some dents. We have tackled it technically. Brakes repaired, engine serviced, it runs and drives fine again. If you compare it to a Citroën HY, it may lack some character, but it more than makes up for that with its more modern driving behaviour.
You can go in all directions with the interior; camper, food truck, cool company van. Whatever you want. It has a new NL registration, so it can easily go with you.
