We’ve got another one: a Mehari 4×4! This Mehari is one of 1213 built between 1979 and 1983. It’s unclear whether the distribution ended due to lack of success or rather because they were all produced for the French army. What we know for sure, though, is that you can have endless fun with this car. With 4×4 and Reducteur switched on, you can climb any mountain – slowly, but surely. It’s not a speed miracle, but it has the tough look.

Vert Montana, or ‘ranger green’ as we like to call it, is its original color. After some wear and tear (perhaps due to some low branches in the forest?), it was once provided with new paint. The engine has recently been replaced by a revised one. Other than that, the well-functioning technique and smooth ride make it easy to believe it really only drove 59.000km. The 4×4-meter also shows only 26 hours of hard work: not much, compared to other cars we’ve had before.
A tough car with some signs of use and age, but to be fair, they shouldn’t be too shiny anyway… We deliver this car freshly serviced and MOT’d.
