The Ami was introduced in ’61 as a model between the 2CV and the DS. In ’64, a Break-edition was added. In ’69, the Ami 6 was followed by the Ami 8.

Citroën regularly released a more luxurious version of existing models. This Ami 6 Break Club is a nice example. More luxurious seating/upholstery, decorations on the outside, and double headlights were added to this type of Ami from ’68 on. And lastly, right before the release of the Ami 8, they also added a new 35hp engine.
Not produced for long, yet a very useful and therefore much wanted car: we are always happy to find one. And a beautiful one, this is! A nice and fresh Blanc Stellaire, red seating and shiny lijsten: gorgeous! A few signs of wear and tear on the (mostly) original paint and seating can’t stop us from loving this car. Only 60.000km from new, which is easy to feel in this car’s smooth and comfortable drive. Especially with the new set of Michelin ZXs we just added to it.
